SOUTH KINGSTOWN — Chief Steven Pinch of the Union Fire District of South Kingstown reports that UFD volunteers took part in multiple trainings over the past weekend.
During one of the trainings, UFD Stations 7 and 8 conducted live fire training drills along with members of the Charlestown Fire District. Members of Station 9 also participated in a “decon” drill with members of the Kingston Fire District.
UFD volunteers frequently engage in live training exercises, often in collaboration with neighboring departments, in order to keep their skills sharp and up-to-date.
