The Wakefield Fire Company was established in 1894 and located on Main St. Incorporated into the Union Fire District in 1924, a new Fire Station was built at 197 Robinson St. We respond to all calls within the Union Fire District. We are an all-volunteer organization, serving our fellow community members in times of need. We are primarily an Engine Company, Rescue Boat and Dive Team but we also respond to other calls for assistance such as medical aid, wildland/brush fires, and water/ice rescue, and natural disasters.
