To be eligible, applicants must be graduating high school seniors from the class of 2024 or serving as SK firefighters. They must meet one of the following criteria: have a family connection to a current or life member of either fire district, be an active member of either fire district, or attend South Kingstown High School or the Prout School as a senior with career aspirations in Fire/Emergency Services. Required documents for application include the completed SK Firefighter Scholarship application, designation of the intended institution for higher education or training, and a high school transcript with first semester senior grades for 2024 graduates. The deadline for submission is May 5th at 10:00 PM.
