Kingston Fire District Announces Clay Shoot Fundraiser

SOUTH KINGSTOWN — Chief Nathan Barrington of the Kingston Fire District announce the second annual Burhoe/LePage Foundation sporting clay shoot fundraiser.

When:

Saturday, June 5, starting at 10 a.m.

Where:

Peace Dale Shooting Preserve, 371 Rose Hill Road, South Kingstown

What:

The second annual Burhoe/LePage Foundation sporting clay shoot will feature a 100 target shoot, and ammunition and shotgun rentals are available. Golf cart rentals are also available and those interested should contact the Peace Dale Shooting Preserve.

Raffle tickets for $20 will be available for the chance to win an ATA Arms SP Sporter O/U 12 gauge shotgun (a $1,000 value). Only 50 tickets will be sold. Tickets are available in advance or on the day of the event. 

There will also be door prizes, awards for top scorers and top teams and a 50/50 raffle.

Entry fees for the event are $100 for individual shooters or $375 for a team of four, with lunch and a free cigar included. The cost for lunch is $25.

Checks should be made payable to KVFC, 35 Bills Road, Kingston, Rhode Island, 02881.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Kingston Fire Company.
