SOUTH KINGSTOWN — The Union Fire District of South Kingstown is pleased to announce it has teamed up with Whalers Brewing Company for a special event later this month.
A food truck night honoring volunteer firefighters will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 31 from 4-8 p.m. The special event will be held at Whalers Brewing Company, located at 1174 Kingstown Road in South Kingstown.
The event is open to all members of the public.
As a special thank you, all South Kingstown firefighters will be given a voucher for food in recognition of their service.
The food truck night will feature a night of great food, drink and family fun, and be an opportunity for residents to meet the local volunteer firefighters who serve the community.
Multiple area food trucks have signed up to take part in the event.
