About Us:

The Snug Harbor Volunteer Fire Company was established in 1953 and incorporated into the Union Fire District in 1978. We respond to all calls within the Union Fire District. We are an all-volunteer organization, serving our fellow community members in times of need. We are primarily an Engine Company, but we also respond to other calls for assistance such as medical aid, wildland/brush fires, and water/ice rescue, and natural disasters.

How to join us:

If you or anyone you know is interested in joining the Snug Harbor Volunteer Fire Department as a Firefighter, a Driver, or even an associate member, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are located at 17 Bliss Road, in Snug Harbor, off Gooseberry Road. You can also reach us at (401) 789-0409, and either speak to one of the members or leave a message. Our drill days are Wednesday night from 7:00 to 9:00PM and Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00AM, and our monthly meeting is the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 PM. We also frequently man our engine for day, night, and weekend duty shifts.
